One of the greatest tricks politicians play on us is telling us not to believe what our own ears are hearing.
They use that trick because they need to get their followers to be gullible enough to follow them no matter what – because they’re always lying and usually saying one thing then doing the opposite.
John Dumelo was recently on Kasapa Fm and admitted that campaigning for the NDC primary had drained him of all cash. He told the host of Anopa Kasapa that he needed more support to get him to through the next stage of campaigning for the Parliamentary race.
“I’m broke rough, the campaign has drained my money rough. All the cash I had has been spent on the campaign I have absolutely nothing left on me for the next round of campaigning. I’ll have to look for money elsewhere for that exercise. As I speak with you I’m laying flat on the ground, I need help to get back onto my feet. There will have to be voluntary contributions from my loved ones to see me through the next level of campaigning for the 2020 parliamentary election,” Dumelo reportedly said.
This morning, however, Dumelo has decided to ‘change his mouth’ and claim he never said he’s broke.
In a couple of tweets, Dumelo denied having said he’s broke. His tweet tried to make it seem it was a sort of plot to make him seem broke when he never said that.
“They said I said I’m broke. They will say I said they said i said I’m broke….ok. If that makes them happy.” he tweeted.
Dumelo later took down the tweets – probably after realizing its not a good idea to lie that blatantly after claiming he wants to be a different kind of politician.
From the moment he stepped into a gutter when we’ve never seen him do nothing like that before, it was obvious Dumelo is just another politician, and he’s proven it again this morning.
