Ghanaian US-based filmmaker, Leila Djansi has thrown subtle shade at Ghanaian celebrities dreaming and saving money to buying luxurious to upgrade their celebrity status to another level.

According to Leila, saving money and putting pressure on yourself to buy a luxurious car wouldn’t define you as a celebrity because even the world’s greatest and respected celebrities drive less expensive cars.

Leila Djansi’s jab comes on the back of a publication by a US Entertainment blog titled “Inside Look At Your Favourite Celebrity Car”.

She posted the screenshot of the publication and captioned it;

So… stop putting pressure on yourself. Stop saving for that fancy car. It won’t define you. Your work however, will.
