The fight for the legalization of marijuana aka “Tampi” didn’t start today. Popular Reggae Musicians like Culture, Bob Marley, Buju Banton, and many others started it years even before some of us were born.
The late United Nation’s Secretary-General, Mr. Kofi Annan called for nations to legalize it as a way to combat the problem of drug abuse and illegal trafficking.
And in Ghana, popular singers like Samini and Kwaw Kese recently asked our government to press on the green light for Ghanaians to grow the weed.
However, popular Ghanaian Reggae star, Blakk Rasta has also called on our leaders to legalize it and we don’t know if Nana Addo and his NPP led government will take this into consideration or not.
Watch the video of Blakk Rasta as he spoke at his “Timbuktu By Road” Album launch.
