Serial Lawlessness: Another Chief Murdered In Ghana Weeks After Asamponhene’s Murder – This Time In Gomoa

Just a few weeks after a chief was brutally murdered in his car whilst travelling, another chief has also been murdered in a similar fashion.

First to go was the Asamponhene of the Ashanti Kingdom, who was murdered by some unknown assailants, and now the Gyaasehene (Kingmaker) of Gomoa Ankranmang has also suffered a similar fate.

Nana Egyiri, aka Osibo, was brutally murdered and then his body was dumped in the community.

According to myjoyonline, his body was found lying in a pool of blood, with both his home and his car vandalized by the criminals.

Serial lawlessness seems to be enveloping the nation at this point – as Nana Egyiri’s death also comes two weeks after two police officers were shot dead by criminals, also in Gomoa.
