Family Announces Date for Junior Agogo’s Final Funeral Rites — Checkout All the Details

An obituary of former Black Stars forward Manuel Agogo Junior making the rounds on social media has revealed the planned dates for his final funeral rites.

Agogo, who died unexpectedly last month, throwing the country into shock, would go home at a private ceremony in London on the 20th of September.

His funeral would occur at the St Mark’s Church in the English capital at 2pm, after which he would be cremated, followed by a reception.

Agogo died on August 22nd in London, after a long battle with stroke.

Since the last time Ghanaians heard of Agogo he had started to recover a bit from the worst moment of his stroke, his death came as a bit of a shock, added to the fact he was only 40 years old.

Agogo rose to fame in 2008 after playing a starring role in CAN 2008 hosted by Ghana.
