Legendary musician Akosua Agyapong has said Ghanaians shouldn’t allow highlife to fade away.

Speaking in an interview on “E with Becks”, she revealed that she was impressed with the current crop of highlife artistes as they are doing their best.

She said she was happy with the standard the current artistes have raised the genre to keep it going.

 “Here are few things that we are realizing that they are still bringing back, so highlife needs to live and not die” she stated.

She also advised highlife musicians to write good music.
