A Nigerian pastor has sparked a heated online debate after he quoted some of the most disturbing parts of the Bible to make the point that women are supposed to keep quiet and not talk in churches.
The Bible of course has many disturbing passages, the parts they usually don’t tell you about in church – but when you get a person eager to silence women it’s quite easy for him to find support in the so-called ‘Word of God’.
And that’s exactly what this pastor, known as Chibuzor Ukaonu of the Restored Bible Tabernacle did on Instagram.
He posted a video explaining that the Bible instructs that ‘suffer not a woman to teach’.
When he received some criticism, he quoted Bible verses explicitly stating that women aren’t allowed to speak in church to make clear his point that women must shut up in church and allow men to lead them.
And the evidence is clear, if you don’t buy it then you have a problem with the Bible.
Perhaps religion is the father of all that toxic masculinity the feminists are always on about.
