I Did Not Steal My VGMA Plaques, My Fans Voted for Them So I Won’t Return Them – Stonebwoy Stands Firm With Shatta Wale Against Charterhouse

Shatta Wale recently said that there’s no way Stonebwoy and himself are returning the VGMA plaques they won at this year’s awards after organizers asked them to return them.

According to Wale, they won the award’s fair and square so they’re keeping them.

Stonebwoy has reiterated the same point in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz Fm.

According to him, it’s the height of disrespect for Charterhouse to even ask them to return the awards.

“It will be pure disrespect to return the plaques to CharterHouse. I did not steal the awards, my fans voted, I won’t return them,” Stonebwoy defiantly said.

The request to return the awards came after the fracas at this year’s VGMA night when Stonebwoy and Wale’s camps got into a near fight on stage. The case is currently in court.

Reacting to the brouhaha on VGMA night, Stonebwoy said Charterhouse are also partly to blame but they do not want to accept any responsibility.

“What happened at the VGMAS is a turning point within our entertainment sector, security breaches here and there. Charterhouse made it seem like they were 100% right and pushed all the blame on Shatta Wale and I,” Stonebwoy opined.
