Wanlov da Kubolor has twitter in literal stitches after he poked fun at President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over yet another tax increase being inflicted upon Ghanaians.
The government recently sanctioned an increase in the communications service tax from 6% to 9%.
For a government that bemoaned the high tax burden on Ghanaians whilst in opposition, the NPP has simply added more to it since coming into power – case in point the recent increase in fuel prices which has naturally lead to an increase in transport fares and eventually every other service in Ghana.
After a Twitter user complained about the tax increase, Wanlov replied with the aforementioned joke with has twitter in stitches.
According to him, the tax increase from 6% to 9% is simply because Nana Addo loves doing ’69’.
