A Nigerian pastor has been arrested after killing his girlfriend to enable him steal her money and use it to establish his church.
Chukwuemeka Ezeh, General Overseer of Royal Prince Prophetic Ministry in Enugu, was arrested by the Enugu State Command on suspicion of murdering his girlfriend of five years.
According to reports, Ezeh hatched the plan to kill his girlfriend, Ogechukwu Ogbodo, after she came home from work one day with 2m naira she was supposed to deposit into the bank the next day.
He then decided to kill her, took the money which he then used to buy musical instruments and carry out a total renovation of his church.

He has been arrested and is set to be arraigned before court once investigations have been concluded.
