Ghanaian singer Chikel Baibe, who was influenced by the late Ebony to do music, says she wants to be as big as her idol.
Speaking to Joy News after the successful launch of her single “My Time” featuring TeePhlow, Chikel said she wants to continue the work the late musician left behind.
“I love her. Way back I said I want to be like Ebony. But not being like copying her voice or singing like her. Where she got, I want to get that place too,” she said.
Chikel in the interview added that she wants to use her music to address the concerns of women in relationships as they’re more vulnerable.
