According to Yao Mawutor Fianu, Events Lead at Talent Promotions, Gaming with The Stars is a premium event experience that will be rolled out at least once every year. He said Talent Promotions designed the project to facilitate greater social interaction between public figures and their public that admire and aspire to be like them and was excited that their first edition received such great reception.

Held at the Forecourt of the Takoradi Mall, the setup was a sight to behold as videogames like FIFA and Mortal Kombat were installed which receive great patronage from soccer and fighting enthusiasts. There was mini basketball which was a hit with the ladies as well as foosball or tabletop football as it’s better known. Fans of snooker were not left out as three snooker tables were available for them to play. There were board games like Ludo and Scrabble with table tennis also set up. It really was a gaming festival as the hundreds of people who showed up definitely had something they could play.
There were the usual photoshoots with the artists such as Casta Troy, Nemisis Loso, Ayma among others and guests as the games where being played.
The atmosphere at the event was a joyous one as old friends reconnected and new ones where made and the public had the golden opportunity to meet their role models up-close and personal.
The day long event ended with a jam session where the guest singers and rappers engaged musical chairs and freestyle performances.
Even before the tents where dismantled and the gaming equipment were packed away, there was only one thing on the lips of everyone who witnessed the spectacle that was Gaming with The Stars: Talent Promotions should organize the event again cos they all loved it.
The organizers have responded: Takoradi should get ready for Gaming with The Stars 2020!
