The boss of Shatta Movement, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior popularly known as Shatta Wale has been crowned as Artiste of the Year at 2019 Ghana Music Awards UK.

Shatta Wale beats Ghanaian musicians such has Sarkodie, Medikal, Stonebwoy, KiDi, Kuami Eugene and King Promise to grab the prestigious award.

In all, the “Gringo” hitmaker bagged 3 awards─making him the most awarded artiste on the night.

His “My Level” song won “Popular song of the Year” and also grabbed the Dancehall Artiste of the Year award on the night.

Meanwhile, Sarkodie has won “Best International Flow” award at 2019 BET Hip-hop awards.
