The guy at the centre of the video of a lady beating her boyfriend with bathroom slippers, Papa Kofi, has spoken up for the first time since the incident.
Papa Kofi has become infamous after the video went viral, in which he sat quietly whilst his girlfriend, known as Karen, hit him constantly with a ‘chalewote’, allegedly for cheating.
People have given many reasons why he didn’t retaliate, but the funniest by far is the claim that it’s because he was afraid of Karen’s father, who is a soldier.
Anyway, in a comment on social media, he seems to have reacted for the first time to the controversy.
A friend mocked him for getting beat up by a girl and he replied that since she’s apologized, he’s forgiven her and is ready to move on.
Yeah, obviously that’s his only option, if Karen’s father is really a military officer in a land of no laws like Ghana.
