Perhaps, Yvonne Nelson is close to right to think that we are but in love the sheer idea of love itself not love in itself.
Most often than not, we claim we love people and would be there for them all the time and when the time comes for us to put into action the love that we have professed, we find ourselves disappointing the very people who have trusted in our words.

Love is a lot of things, it is a commitment, understanding, respect, trust, loyalty amongst others and until we are ready to give all of that, we cannot fully say we are in love or we love the next person beside us.
