Fast-rising Ghanaian actress and musician, Yaa Jackson has refuted claims that she stole Guru’s song.
According to her in an interview with Zion Felix, she wrote the song personally for a collaboration with Guru but he rejected it and said he needed something different.
“Initially the song was supposed to be a collaboration between Guru and I so I wrote my verse which he said he don’t like. He said he wanted me to do something different which I haven’t done before that’s why I used the initial verse I wrote for my new song ‘Mekɔn ado’ ,” she said.
