Is Afia Schwarzenegger about to build a new brand? New reports surrounding the always controversial comedienne actually has her taking an action which would benefit most Ghanaians.
Afia has reportedly secured funding from a Beverly Hills billionaire to help solve the flooding issues in Ghana.
Flooding is an issue Ghanaians have to deal with every year, no matter where you are. From Accra to the hinterland and even up north, whenever the rains come, flooding follows – and every year it leads to loss of properties and sometimes even becomes as drastic as loss of lives.
And the problem never gets solved. Year after year the floods lead to disasters and year after year all we get is lip service from politicians.
That might be a thing of the past if this deal Afia is reported to have struck comes to fruition.
Afia recently met with U.S billionaire Kenneth Bordewick and his partners and somehow, managed to secure a deal to help fix Ghana’s drainage issues.
Bordewick is interested in investing in Ghana’s sewer and drainage systems, in a way which would solve the major problem of flooding by providing pathways for water to flow.

The meeting was attended by among others Edith Chibhamu, Afia, Bordewick and others.
