I left Rufftown Records Because Bullet Demanded $50,000 From Me – Ms Forson

Former Rufftown Records signee, Ms Forson, has disclosed reasons behind her split with Rufftown Records.

In an interview TV Africa, she said she had no choice than to leave the record label after the owner, Bullet demanded a whopping $50,000 from her to fund her project.

According to the rapper, since she didn’t have the money, she was forced to leave Rufftown for an artiste with that amount of money to replace her.

“He wanted me to finance $50,000, the whole thing – the project. All of a sudden he just demanded for $50,000 for which I wasn’t ready. So he had to substitute me for someone who probably had that kind of money,” she revealed.

Ms Forson was signed to Bullet’s outfit before the tragic death of Ebony Reigns and there was high expectations for her. However, after the signing of Wendy Shay, the supposed replacement for Ebony, Ms Forson unfortunately became a peripheral figure at the label and had to leave.

She is now signed to D Black’s ‘Black Avenu Muzik’ label.
