A lot of things motivate people to do the thing they do and when it comes to showbizness people, the one thing they dread is fading out, losing relevance and having to face old age just like any other person.
In an interview, Kuami Eugene has been totally honest with his fans and himself just like Shatta Wale was few days ago. According to the Wish Me Well hitmaker, he dreads fading out from the industry because he is literally a breadwinner so losing relevance would render lots of people at a loss.
“I can’t afford to lose my relevance or falling down in this industry, I have been the one putting food on lots of people’s tables and it is very important to keep who I am for the benefit of others. I yearn to be greater than what I am now.”
He adds that “It’s an observable fact that stars are hailed today and forgotten the next minute, with a tall list of artists that can be mentioned as examples even here in Ghana. The fear also makes me work harder and also motivates me to plan ahead.”
As we said earlier, once there is motivation, people would go to greater lengths to get things done— Kuami Eugene has done incredibly well for himself and has been accused severally for ‘stealing’ people’s songs to make hits.
Is staying relevant motivation enough for him to keep stealing?
