Ghanaian DJ Micheal Owusu popularly known as DJ Mic Smith has thrown shots at the organizers of the Ghana DJ Awards.

Speaking on YFM, he said this has been the situation of the awards scheme since day one where undeserving people always win awards, adding that even though he’s not aware of the criteria the organizers use in awarding the winners, he is not surprised at the outcome.
Reacting to DJ Switch’s win as the Best DJ of the year, he congratulated her and said he was not surprised that she won the award.

“The history of the Ghana DJ Awards has been like this from day one. The people who don’t deserve win the award and those who have worked hard, stand out and deserve it do not win the award. I don’t know anything about the awards, I don’t know the criteria. You are just there and they will say you have won the award. I don’t really know what went into it before she got the award. I am not surprised that she won but then kudos to her. She has done well”, he said.
