Ghanaian musician Okyeame Kwame also known as the Rap Dacta has address the issue of mobile phone attachment in his latest song ‘Dum Fon No’.
In an interview with Jessica Opare Saforo on Citi 97.3 FM, he said the song is based on his personal life experience.
According to him, today most relationships are suffering because of the mobile phone so he decided to tackle that in his song.
“Most marriages are breaking up because of people’s attachment to the phone and what they do on the phone,” he said.
While promoting the song he said, ‘Dum Fon No’ tells the story of a married man asking his wife to put off her phone and pay attention to him.
He further advised that always being on phone makes room for cheating and other things in relationships therefore it is very important that we look at it.
“It gets to a time, you need to turn the phone off,”he advised.
The song features Yaa Yaa and is on the ‘Made In Ghana’ album.
