The year of return, government’s initiative to bring Africans in the Diaspora back home to commemorate 400 years since the first slaves were taken from our shores to the New World, has led to many big name celebrities visiting Ghana.
Steve Harvey and Boris Kodjoe are just two of the biggest names – but many others have also touched down.
The initiative has made Ghana an attractive destination and on Friday, three big names from Asia also touched down in Ghana.
Popular Chinese actor Jet Li, billionaire entrepreneur Jack Ma and former U.N Secretary-General Ban ki-Moon all visited the country.
They paid courtesy calls on President Nana Akufo-Addo.
They are in town to be part of the Africa Netpreneurship Summit, which will be held at the Accra International Conference later today.
