In April 2018, Davido was accused of fighting a female presenter in Zimbabwe after he played a show there. A Zimbabwean Newspaper H-Metro reported that Davido had a little confrontation with the presenter, Boity at a local hotel when he was with his Davidio’s 30 Billion Concert which was held at the Harare International Conference Centre. It was alleged that it happened when Davido subtly said he wanted to sleep with the female presenter which did not sit well with her. It led to her going ballistic, the police were said to have been called in when things got out of hand. Davido allegedly manhandled Boity and things were destroyed in the room.
