Former deputy minister of finance, Fiifi Kwetey has said that the former president John Dramani Mahama did very well by making Ghana a heaven-like before President Akuffo Addo took over.
According to him, the former president Mahama made massive investment in the economy before the Akuffo Addo led NPP government took over.
He added that, the NDC solved the power crisis and left Ghana in a good financial status before handing over to NPP.
“John Mahama handed over to the two massive oil fields. In 2016, oil production was more as compared to the 200,000 barrels produced a day. For the first time in our history, the Mahama government handed over to Akufo-Addo a nation that has resolved this energy crisis for good, he left behind heaven,” he said.
Fiifi Kwetey who is currently the Member of Parliament for Ketu South also added that the former president did a lot before handing over to the current administration.
