These ladies – Joselyn Dumas, Juliet Ibrahim, Nana Aba – you get the picture; are often placed under nonstop pressure to get remarried because it’s just part of Ghanaian society to tie a woman’s worth to whether she’s married or not.

Nana Aba Anamoah, in a chat with KSM, made it abundantly clear that she doesn’t care about that societal pressure.

According to her, she has a boyfriend, she would get married if marriage presents itself but if not, she’s not going to cry over it.

She also denied the ridiculous assertions that she’s against marriage.

“I am not against marriage at all. As a matter of fact, all my sisters are married and I am happy for them. If marriage comes my way, I will get married but if not I won’t go and cry about it.

“Society has put too much pressure on women to be married at all cost meanwhile there is no single verse in the Bible that says women must get married. Marriage doesn’t make you complete as a woman, it’s rather a bonus to your success story especially if it is a good marriage.” she said.
