Ghanaian artist Patapaa has disclosed that aside him and dancehall artist Shatta Wale there’s no other proper artist in Ghana.

According to him in an interview with Sammy Flex, they are the only two artists who don’t sing more love songs unlike the rest.

‘In the industry today when you take Shatta Wale and i out of it the rest are ‘borla’ they are all singing about love. The love song is too much and we are the only two who don’t do love songs. The love songs are spoiling the kids of today. It doesn’t have any positive impart on them,’ he said.

He also added that because the love song is easy to sing, the kids learn it easily and even try to practice what they hear in the love songs.

He added; ‘The love songs have become too much but ask yourself that what impart does it have on the kids. Everyone listens and starts singing it. But songs that are used to advice kids are the ones they say it doesn’t make sense. They usually say Patapaa doesn’t sing sensible songs but my recent song talks about kids dressing seductively to attract men while their parents are watching them without saying anything.’
