Veteran actress Grace Omaboe known popularly as Maame Dokono has touched on her romance with colleague actor David Dontoh.
According to Maame Dokono, they fell in love at a point and they even thought they could get married but had to painfully make each other go when the subject of children was mentioned. Maame Dokono says she had had her six children at that time and did not want to have any again whereas Dontoh was a young man who had to marry and start his own family hence the need to set him free.

“At a time we fall in love. We thought we could marry but at that time I had given birth to all my six children and I told him I was not going to have children give again. He was also a young man who needed his freedom to marry and I gave him his freedom to go and marry.”
