Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has disclosed that giving one of his awards to his rival Stonebwoy at the recent 2019 4Syte Music Video Awards wasn’t only to show love but for business purpose too.

Speaking to Ibrahim Ben Bako on Joy Prime, he said his gesture was intended to prove how much he loves Stonebwoy and it turned out well for his business aspect as well.

“I have brands that I am working with and I don’t want them to see me as that rowdy type that people are always trying to paint me as,” he said.

He also added that he has to prove to people he is not a violent person as is being purported by critics.

“I am a businessman and I want them to understand that this is a game I’m always playing. I just want the corporate businesses in Ghana to understand that Shatta is just an entertainer and he is ready to entertain anytime.”
