Legendary Ghanaian gospel singer Stella Seal, formerly known as Stella Dugan, has a surprising outlook on polygamy.
What with being a gospel singer and all, you’d think she would have some ‘old-fashioned’ views on marriage ie ‘one man, one woman’.

However, in a chat with Becky on ‘E with Becks’, Seal said she has no problem with polygamy.
She said she even believes if it’s allowed it could help curb cheating among couples.
“If a married man can be responsible enough to take another wife instead of having multiple girlfriends, then let him,” she said.

“If you think you love the woman enough, do the needful or fix your marriage. I speak to ladies who tell me they have four to six boyfriends just because they don’t know who will give them security,” she added.
Seal, who used to be known as Dugan, is one of Ghana’s most beloved gospel singers from the ‘golden age’ of gospel.
