A joint police operation involving Italian officers and Interpol has led to the busting of a sex trafficking ring in Italy.
32 people were arrested as two Nigerian crime rings were busted.
The criminals are accused of bringing in Nigerian women to the country to be forced into prostitution and s*x slavery.
People were arrested in the Italian towns of Puglia, Sicily, Campania, Calabria, Lazio, Abruzzo, Marche, Emilia Romagna, Veneto and even abroad, in Germany, France, Netherlands and Malta.
This comes after the busting of a similar crime ring in France headed by a Nigerian pastor, which also brought girls over from Nigeria to be used in prostitution.
There seem to be many Nigerian girls travelling abroad for greener pastures but this is the kind of end they are being faced with.
