Ghanaian dancehall king, Shatta Wale has presented a whopping GHC 150, 000 worth of items, specifically, electrical gadgets to farmers.
The musician joined the Amansie West District farmers on this ‘Farmers Day’ celebration and presented his gifts to the food providers.
Shatta Wale noted the importance of farming as a means for food provision, revenue increment, job creation among others.
In his speech, he noted; ‘Farming is important because it provides food and jobs for the population. As a country, I think it is time we embrace industrial farming which provides a large amount of food at a relatively low cost and hugely contributes to the industrial development of the country. More jobs will be created for the youth and more people which will help solve the unemployment situation in the county.‘
