Anthony Joshua beat Andy Ruiz Jr in their hugely anticipated rematch to regain his world titles.
Joshua won via unanimous decision after a 12 round slugfest to regain the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight championship belts he lost to Ruiz earlier this year.
AJ, as the boxer is popularly known, was stunned by Ruiz during their first bout but came prepared this time and outboxed, outfought and outthought Ruiz.
Joshua won on all three judges’ scorecards – 118-110, 118-110, 119-109 – an emphatic victory.
The British former Olympic champion thus returns to being unified world heavyweight champion and now everyone can look forward to that bout with Deontay Wilder.
