Ghana’s finest filmmaker Shirley Frimpong Manso has made yet another major move for her company, Sparrow Pictures.

Shirley has signed a deal with global giants Netflix to acquire the streaming rights to her acclaimed romantic comedy, Potato Potahto.

The deal will lead to the movie being streamed on Netflix starting December 15th.

Shirley dropped the exciting news on social media: “Exciting News!!! Our film #PotatoPotahtoFilm starts streaming on NETFLIX on Sunday 15th December 2019. Set your reminder now cos Santa came early this Christmas #ChristmasSpecial #ComingToNetflix,” she wrote.

‘Potato Potahto’ stars Joselyn Dumas and OC Ukeje as a bickering ex-couple who choose to live together after failing to agree on who gets to keep a house they acquired during their marriage.

Shirley is also promoting the upcoming premiere of her latest offering, ‘The Perfect Picture; Ten Years Later’.
