Akon has gone and stepped on some toes!
The Senegalese American star who was recently in Ghana, decided to describe Wizkid as his ‘lil bro’ in a post he uploaded to social media.
Musician M.I Abaga, who seems to be looking for some attention, decided it was offensive for Akon to call Wizkid his lil bro.

Writing on twitter, he explained that he believes Wizkid has achieved more than Akon so Akon cannot call him his little brother.
“African artists in diaspora actually did anything to REALLY help the movement.. as a fan of Wizkid (which I am) I don’t see Wiz as lil bro to Akon.. he has overcome larger obstacles to accomplish way more (in my eyes).. In my opinion Wiz is lil bro to none,” M.I wrote.
“I have shared my opinion.. you don’t agree. Cool!!! that caption should say ‘with my bro and icon’.. again my opinion..
“Value what we are.. what we have.. what we have accomplished over everything else.. that is how Africa will rise.. Everyone will be alright” he added.
Maybe Akon was just calling him his little bro since he is actually older than Wiz. Why does achievements have to come into it?
