After a successful Year Of Return initiative that got people from all walks of life visiting Ghana, The Ghana Library Authority (GhLA) has adopted a similar method declaring the new year as the Year of Learning.

Executive Director , Mr. Hanford Siaw, in an end of year press briefing detailed government’s support and pledge to connect Ghanaians to knowledge resources.
He also announced five main objectives set for GhLA’s Year Of Learning covering the aspect of; reading promotion, technology, book stock, renovation and increase in public libraries.

The Year Of Learning will run on the theme; “70 Years of Transforming Minds Through Libraries”, to celebrate 70 years since the Library Authority Was Established.
