Sources have disclosed that Shatta Wale throwing his weight behind Premier League team Legon Cities FC was not just for the love of the game as it seemed.
Shatta Wale performed as a curtain raiser at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday before Legon Cities FC played Against Asante Kotoko.

Prior to the game, Shatta was seen flooding his social media page with Posts about the game and heavy support for Legon Cities FC.
Sources claim new owners of the club coughed up US$ 70,000 (Ghs 400,000) for the SM boss to promote their first home match.
