A Nigerian doctor has revealed how he broke down in tears upon receiving his first-ever salary working in Saudi Arabia.
According to him, he had been receiving peanuts working back home in Nigeria so he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw his new salary.
In a post on social media, he said he used to treat over 100 patients in Nigeria per day only to make 118,000 Naira (about $300) per month.
In Saudi Arabia, he treated a maximum 7 patients per day and made $4,500.
No wonder he burst into tears.
