A Malawian woman passed away on Tuesday, January 14th after succumbing to her injuries suffered from a gunshot wound.
Waheeda Bagus was shot by her husband in December just because he suspected she was cheating on him.
She sustained serious injuries and was admitted at the Kamuzu Central Hospital where she received treatment until her death.
Her husband, who shot her, initially tried to escape before later handing himself over to the authorities.
He has been charged with murder.
Social media is mourning the tragic death of Waheeda. May she rest in peace.
