A Ghanaian student studying in China has revealed how she was nearly raped during a night out because she was mistaken for a prostitute.
Blackgirl Stan revealed that she went out to the Chocolate City, Guangzhou, because she had heard it was a hub for Africans in China.
However, she got kind of stranded and then some Chinese guys tried hiring her for s*x because they mistook her for a ‘ho’.
“I actually got off the train and my phone battery was dead. I tried countless times to book a hotel online but I wasn’t successful at that. I found a hotel that was close to the train station but unfortunately it was exclusive to nationals. Foreigners could not stay there,” she said.
Whilst standing there thinking of what to do, some Chinese men approached her and harassed her.
According to her it’s because they believe in the Chocolate City that the blacks there are prostitutes.
She said five men harrassed her verbally whilst she refused all of them until one guy was left.
“He asked me to walk to his home to have a sleep. I declined. He further requested we booked a room so both of us could spend time together. I objected that too. He gave up on helping me and he left,” she revealed.
