Veteran Ghallywood actor Ekow Smith Asante has taken a subtle shade at actors cum pastors. According to him, there is nothing going on in the movie industry and it would have benefitted a lot of these now men of God had done something else.
“We are really at a standstill, if you don’t find ways and means to do other things, branch into politics like my friends will do or go into the church business, what else do you want to do? Have you realized where we are going? If you don’t brand into politics, we become men of God or we go into catering.”

Asked if he would also become a pastor someday, he answered in the negative, adding that he would rather preach the gospel through movies.
