Singer Sista Afia has revealed that she has not had any Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for the past four years although she and her team always file for nominations.
“I have filed for awards at the VGMA before. But for the past four years, I have never been nominated for the VGMA awards,” she told Doctor Cann in an interview.

The Jeje hitmaker confirms that they have filed for nomination this year too, adding that she cannot immediately tell which categories.
“This year my management has filed for the awards. I have hope this year.
“I am not aware of the category I have filed for, because over the years, I have not been nominated in these awards scheme. Thus, I don’t give too much attention to it”.
