Ghanaian rapper E.L has asked a poignant question about God and religion in the wake of the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant.
Bryant, 41 and his teenage daughter were both onboard a helicopter which crashed Sunday, killing all passengers.
To say his death was a shock is an understatement – Kobe was just 41 and if they asked you to name 1,000 celebrities likely to die in 2020 his name would not even enter your mind.
But it has happened so everyone is trying to make sense of a world that can simply cause such shocks.
Taking to social media, rapper E.L wondered if such events can be reconciled with the claim that ‘God is good all the time’.
If God is good all the time how does such things happen?
That’s one of the mysteries of life we all have to solve on our own.
