Court Orders Ghanaian ‘Sakawa Boy’ Based In Belgium to Pay Back €335,500 He Owes to Two Belgian Women He Duped

A Ghanaian ‘sakawa boy’ based in Belgium has been ordered to pay back monies he swindled from two Belgian women via a romance scam.

Frederick Bosompem swindled €335,503.06 and GH¢10,000 from his two victims, both from Belgium.

Bosompem met the two ladies on a dating site where he represented himself as Frederick Amando, a white Englishman.

He managed to strike up a rapport with these two women, telling them he’s a car dealer.

During the course of their relationships, he managed to take money from them numerous times under the guise of facing business challenges.

After numrous attempts to get back the money, the ladies sued him at the  Finance and Economic Crime Court.

He has been ordered to pay back the monies to the ladies.

This case kind of mirrors that of Funny Face, who has also been sued by a ‘lady friend’ for swindling her out of some cash.
