Kotoko Fan Assaulted By Boxer Patrick Allotey for Jubilating When Kotoko Beat Hearts Speaks Up – Video

A fan of Kumasi Asante Kotoko identified as Michael Siaw has spoken out after a Ghanaian boxer assaulted him.

Michael was pummelled into the ground by boxer Patrick Allotey Sunday afternoon because he was jubilant over Asante Kotoko’s 2-1 win over Accra Hearts of Oak.

A video of the beating went viral.

Michael and his family have launched a complaint against Allotey at the Odokor police and he has now spoken to the press about what happened.

“I didn’t even know he was a boxer, it was after the video went viral that I got to know.” he told Oyerepa Fm.

“Sincerely I did nothing provoking to merit such assault from him, I was only jubilating when Kotoko scored, that was when he approached me to leave his presence and before I realized, he had hit me.

“His manager and family members have been here that I should withdraw the case so we settle it amicably but am yet to meet my dad so we decide.” he added.
