Nigerian musician Iyanya, former boyfriend of actress Yvonne Nelson has been charged with alleged car theft.
The musician was charged and arraigned before the court by the Police Special Fraud Unit (PSFU) on Tuesday in Ikoyi, Lagos State.
According to reports, the singer converted to his use a Black Toyota Land Cruiser Prado SUV marked MAVINIY in September 2018.
Prosecution counsel, Mr. Chukwu Agwu told the court that the car belongs to the former Management company of the musician, The Temple Management Company Ltd.

Meanwhile, Iyanya is said to have pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The case has been adjourned to February 27th.
