Nollywood just made a deal with Netflix which would allow their movies to be shown on the platform.
When it comes to movies, music and generally entertainment, Nigeria is way too ahead of Ghana and this is not even funny anymore.

In Ghana, we don’t have any movie industry to start with and the few actors actresses passing off celebrities have done little of close to nothing to make matters any better.
The only thing we can boast of is useless competition and unforeseen banters and backbiting. There is always one actor or actress having beef or a tiff with a colleague in the industry.
We have seen far too many in the past, the two Yvonne, Okoro and Nelson were not the best of friends until recently when Okoro starred on one of Yvonne’s production.

And quite recently, Funny Face and Lil Win have taken the mantle fighting over a title they both do not deserve in the place.
We are safe to say our movie industry has been stagnant and continually failing because no one has lifted a finger to make matters better— from actresses to actors to producers to writers and any other person who sees to it that a movie somehow becomes a success.
