We are safe to say Wendy Shay has worked hard enough to earned her seat at the elder’s table.
She has done incredibly well for herself ever since she hit limelight serving her fans with hit after hit— always something to jam to.
From Shatta Wale to Kuami Eugene through to Emelia Brobbey amongst others, one would think it would not be a problem for any veteran musician to have a collaboration with her and maybe there isn’t except for veteran highlife musician Kwaisey Pee.
According to Pee, Shay lacks the depth he looks for before he collaborates with any artist at all. According to him, Shay is good on her own and all that she does but certainly does not meet the standards for him.
“Because I know what I want, I know who to work with, I am looking for some quality, some standard, and the quality and standard I want my song to be it would be difficult to collaborate with her.”
