‘We are living the life, we are going crazy, you feel me…’ are the exact words of Davido to the naysayers who think she is making way too much about his wealth and that of his family.
But would you not do the same if you were in Davido’s shoes? One is only expected to flaunt it if and when they have it and the Adeleke’s are fortunate enough to have almost all of it.
Davido’s father who owns a business empire, a private university recently acquired a second private jet and that has led to people chiming that the Adeleke’s are putting their wealth in their faces making them feel somewhat oppressed and inadequate.

Well, Davido has news for the naysayers—according to him, they find no delight in doing what they do like most of it is not aimed at making people feel a certain way.
According to Davido, he just wants to prove a point to Americans that we are living the life down here too.
“We’re not here to rub it in anybody’s face, we’re here to show motivation. Many kids write to me and tell me that I’m the reason they want to finish school, and projects, and become successful.
“It has nothing to do with showing off or trying to oppress anybody. They oppress us enough.”
