Yoruba actress Ronke Oshodi has responded to veteran actor Pete Edochie who had said men who kneel down to propose to ladies are fools.
According to her, that is not shocking because Pete Edochie is an old man and he doesn’t believe in modern ways.
In an interview with The Culture Newspaper, the actress noted, “He is an old man, what do you expect?’
A few weeks ago, Nollywood veteran Pete Edochie made headlines after he noted in a video that it’s senseless for men to kneel to propose.
According to him, in our tradition men are the head, to kneel to propose to ladies means we’re bending our culture to let women be the head.
