‘Fast 9’ was initially set for release in May 2020 but has now been moved back a year to April 2021.

With the virus spreading all over the world, patronage of the movie which is always one of the highest-grossing movies of the year would have been negligible, losing Universal hundreds of millions of dollars.

Also that many people gathering to watch it would have been a major health hazard, so the postponement is more than justified.

‘Fast 9’ is expected to star usual suspects Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Nathalie Emmanuel and also sees the return of Charlize Theron and Sung Kang.

John Cena joins the cast as the new villain, Jakob Toretto.

You now have to wait a whole year more to see this movie.
